Q: What benefit do the CardFlexTM Financial Prepaid MasterCard Card provide my company?

A: CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard Card can eliminate the need for paper checks completely. According to a recent survey by the American Payroll Association the cost of issuing a paper check is roughly $2, whereas the cost for an ACH/Direct Deposit transaction to a Prepaid MasterCard Card is estimated at 10 cents. Q: How do I distribute and incorporate CardFlexTM Prepaid Cards in my payroll direct deposit process?

A: Once your employees have their cards, use your existing direct deposit system with their card numbers and the provided routing number to set them up in your existing payroll system.

Q: What if my employees dont have a bank account? Can they still get a CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard Card?

A: CardFlexTM Financial Prepaid MasterCard Card provide these employees with a virtual bank account so they can participate in your payroll direct deposit program. All CardFlexTM Prepaid Cards carry routing numbers and an account number which allow the employers to add the un-banked employee into your current payroll direct deposit system.

Q: Do I have to have a minimum number of employees participating to get the benefits of using a CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard Card?

A: Our program is completely scalable, allowing those interested in prepaid cards to enroll. CardFlexTM Financial offers Prepaid MasterCard Cards to employers of any size business.

Q: Do I need additional software or system to do Payroll Direct Deposit to CardFlexTM MasterCard Card?

A: No. Your current payroll direct deposit system will handle the ACH transactions to fund the Prepaid MasterCard Cards. An account number and routing number are provided for each individual CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard Card. The system will recognize the pay card accounts just as they would a traditional checking account.

Q: Can the employee request additional Prepaid MasterCard Cards for themselves or family members?

A: Yes. CardFlexTM Financial offers Companion Cards which are available to your employees and their family members as requested.

Q: How and where can employees access their pay?

A: Funds are available 24/7/365. The card can be used anywhere you see the STAR, Maestro or Cirrus Networks for PIN and ATM transactions. MasterCard Card carrying employees are eligible to access their funds as a signature-based transaction, adding dramatically to the number of access points.

Q: If an employee has a problem with using their CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard Card, who do they call for resolution and what is the expected response time?

A: A 24/7/365 customer support center number is listed on the back of every card. Should there be questions or a need to report the pay card or purchase card lost or stolen, our customer service representatives are always available to handle customer needs. Further, our online interface, www.flex1.com, is available to the cardholder to check balances, view transaction history and transfer funds between family members.

Q: If an employees Prepaid MasterCard Card is lost or stolen, what is the reissue procedure?

A: Once notified, the CardFlexTM Financial team will cancel the card activity, reissue the Prepaid MasterCard Cards and transfer funds from the lost/stolen account to the newly issued Prepaid MasterCard Cards.

Q: Do I need to have a bank Account?

A: No you do not. Your payroll card has your money loaded onto it.

Q: How long does it take to get approved?

A: Approval is quick and easy, generally same day*.

Q: What fees will I be charged?

Q: How do I get my money from my card?

A: You can withdraw cash from your card at any ATM showing the Maestro, Cirrus or STAR Brand Marks. Additionally, we have a bill pay option for you if you want to automatically have your bill payments deducted from your card.

Q: Where can I use my card?

A: You can use your card anywhere PIN or signature transactions are accepted. It also enables you to withdraw funds from millions of ATMs worldwide giving you immediate access to your paycheck as and when needed.

Q: How do I check my balance?

A: Checking your balance is easy, you can go online for free to www.flex1.com to check your balance or you can call 1-866-345-4011 or go to an ATM to check your balance for a small charge.

Q: How do I load money on the card?

A: Your paycheck will be deposited onto your card by your employer. You have the option of going online to write a virtual check to your card. We have also partnered with Greendot, meaning you can add cash on your CardFlex Prepaid MasterCard at tens of thousands of retail locations including Rite Aid, CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, RadioShack, and many others.

Q: How do I know what I got paid?

A: Call our toll-free Customer Service number at 1-866-345-4011 or visit us on the Web at www.flex1.com to access your cards transaction history.

Q: What time on payday can I withdraw my pay?

A: You will have access to funds from your paycheck at the opening of business on payday or at 9:00am PST, (please note that this can also be contingent upon your bank).

Q: How do I receive my PIN (Personal Identification Number) and PASSCODE?

A: Your card will come complete with temporary 4 digit PASSCODE. Please note that you must change the PASSCODE and select a PIN by calling our toll-free Customer Service number on the back of your card before using your card.

Q: Can I choose my own PIN and PASSCODE?

A: Yes. You are free to change your PIN and PASSCODE at any time by calling the toll-free Customer Service number on the back of your card. Please note that, your PIN and PASSCODE cannot be the same 4 digit number.

Q: When do I use my PIN?

A: Your PIN is required when withdrawing funds from an ATM machine or when making a purchase at a retail outlet such as gas stations, grocery stores, etc, etc

Q: When do I use my PASSCODE?

A: Your PASSCODE is required when accessing account information from the Web or when accessing account information from our toll-free number.

Q: What do I do if I lose my PIN and PASSCODE?

A: Call our toll-free Customer Service number to change your PIN we will issue a temporary PASSCODE once we have verified card holder information and transaction history. You will be required thereafter to change the PASSCODE the first time you access your information via our toll-free Customer Service number, IVR or the Web.

Q: What should I do if I lose my card or it is stolen?

A: Contact our toll-free Customer Service line immediately and we will deactivate your card. Contact your employer or our toll-free Customer Service number and request a new card. Once you have been issued a new card call our toll-free Customer Service number to move funds from your old card to your new one. We will ensure that we update the system automatically for all your future payroll deposits.

Q: How long does it take until I receive my new card?

A: Time frames vary according to the employer. If you contact CardFlexTM toll-free Customer Service at 1-866-345-4011 and request a new one from us direct, we will mail it to you within 7-10 business days for a $10 Charge.

You can check your account anytime online. The CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card offers cardholders the safest way to pay!

You, as the cardholder, can aid us in the protection of your account. Never tell anyone your Password or PIN number. If you set up an account for someone else, never send the password through email. Check your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card account page often. And please contact us immediately if you feel your account has been compromised in any way.

Q: What can I buy with a Prepaid MasterCard card?

A: You do not have to spend the entire balance of your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card account at one place or at one time. Even if you do not spend the entire amount in your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card account, your remaining balance will still be available for future purchases!

Use only what you need, and your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card account will adjust automatically! Spend some money here, some more money there, whenever and wherever you want.

If your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card account balance is getting low, you can deposit money in your account and add it to your CardFlexTM Prepaid MasterCard card balance.
